Showing for the first time at the ISE in Amsterdam are the DTDAMP4x0.7 and DTDAMP4x1.3, denominating 4-channel, 1U rack-mounting amps in 700W and 1300W models (4x4 Ohms). Each unit weighs just 7.5kg.
Road-ready, rack-ready, the DTDAMP offers all the sensors and protection that are mandatory for a professional touring amplifier, such as mains over/under voltage, Over-voltage or DC output on each channel, short circuit etc.
The variable speed cooling system ensures a quiet and cool amplifier while the front to back cooling system ensures compatibility inside racks where both DTDAMP and Nexo's high-spec NXAMP are used together in large installations.
The DTD Controller is Nexo's first digital controller to combine the sonic quality of the NXAMP plus compatibility with amplifiers from other manufacturers. A low-cost processor that delivers advanced speaker control processing in a compact, rack-mounting device, this unit confers new affordability and accessibility on NEXO's most popular loudspeaker products by connecting them to amplifiers of every size and scale.
There are two versions of the DTD Controller, one for touring and one for installation, each available with the option to add a Dante input. Typical applications will be bands, bars, DJs and small rental companies that want a compact and easy-to-use product that has a high standard of sound quality. The fact that the unit can be operated without a computer will appeal to such users.
