Linea Research is introducing FIR capable versions of its four channel amplifiers
The Netherlands - Amplifier and DSP specialist Linea Research will be exhibiting with distributor ACint. In attendance will be Davey Smalley director of Linea Research, Peter Collins senior sales manager, and Nicola Hales operations manager.
On display will be Linea Research’s range of four and eight channel networked DSP amplifiers, the portable and touring focused M Series and the installation and contractor C Series. Each offer models with power ratings from 400W to 5000W per channel, all with 96kHz DSP and optional Dante networked audio.
New at ISE this year Linea Research is introducing FIR capable versions of its four channel amplifiers allowing users to import loudspeaker manufacturer’s “greybox” FIR settings. “This latest addition has been much requested and will allow our users even more flexibility,” comments Smalley. “With more and more loudspeaker manufacturers implementing FIR based processing, our ability to deliver these in the amplifier allows designers to reduce the amount of centralised signal processing required while benefiting from some of our more specialized features like virtual crossover limiting and linear phase filters.”
Also on hand will be Linea Research’s newest addition, Margie Kirby of US distributor Allied Professional Technologies, who will be working closely with Linea Research on their US and global marketing efforts. “I’m thrilled and proud to be working with this outstanding group of people” says Kirby. “We’ve just come off an extremely successful NAMM show in the US and we’re excited to keep that momentum going at ISE.”
