ISE 2018: Nexo presents elegant line-up
- Details
The ISE show presentation will use a new series of loudspeaker stands and mounts designed especially for Nexo by Showem of Germany.
The all-white display will feature the super-compact ID Series, which is tailored specifically for the installation environment. The ID24 full-range speaker uses twin 4” drivers in a V formation in combination with an HF compression driver. It has a unique user-adjustable horn, easily rotatable without tools by a switch on the rear panel, giving 60 or 120-degree HF coverage. This allows HF horizontal dispersion to be ‘tuned’ for the given application. As the ID24 can be mounted vertically or horizontally, this effectively gives the user four different directivity options in each cabinet.
The Geo M6 compact line array is particularly well-suited to house of worship environments and applications, and Nexo sees many such installations all over the world. It delivers a rarely available ratio of size-to-output, so it is able to keep a low visual profile in historic buildings, and present a highly contemporary design in modern environments.
The Geo M620 is a full-range unit for stand-alone, curved array or line array application. It uses a Nexo-designed long-excursion high-efficiency 6.5” LF driver and 1x 1" throat driver on a BEA/FEA optimized HR Wavesource, to deliver a frequency response of 80 Hz - 19 kHz ±3dB, with nominal peak SPL of 127dB. HF dispersion is 80° or 120° horizontal, with 20° vertical coverage, 0° to 20° splay when arrayed.
For high-power PA applications, Nexo offers its new mid-size line array, the Geo M10, which will be shown at ISE with its partner sub, the MSUB15.
Nexo’s classic best-selling PS Series will also be on show, as well as a variety of sub-bass options will be shown to partner the different products.
