Jands CEO, Paul Mulholland, unveiled the Vista L5 while reflecting on the 10 year journey the company have taken with their Vista range. Explaining that while the original Vista concept was very well received, their work over the past few years has been to refine that concept to deliver a second generation software that is "the perfect integration of Jands's original concept and the industry's demands for it," encouraging those who may have dismissed it in the past to take another look, now it has truly reached its potential.
With the Vista L5 offering "the definitive work surface" for the Vista v2 software, he concluded that, just like outside of our industry, embracing new technologies and interfaces delivers unparalleled benefits to those who are prepared to give them a try.
Embodying many hours of work with media and lighting professionals, the Vista L5 features a 21" High Definition display which is able to show information in a flexible, clear and easy-to-understand way. It offers 16 universes of DMX, a powerful Intel i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a Linux Operating system as well as such details as a backlit keyboard.
Jands Europe's Neil Vann added, "The Vista range features cost effective Mac and Windows control surfaces perfectly suited to an individual's budget, right up to the flagship Vista L5. The Vista v2 software provides the tools to unlock the creative potential of a design by thinking about the end result rather than the steps in the middle. It offers the simplicity to be able to work fast, with the power to adjust the finest details when desired, to consistently and quickly deliver a great looking show."
There are still a few weeks to join the celebration of the Vista L5 launch by entering a competition to win a MacBook Pro, running the Vista v2 software. To enter, visit www.jandsvista.com/L5.
