The new products include wall-mounted speakers, pendant speakers and landscape speakers and subwoofers. These new solutions empower installers with increased freedom to design sound systems to meet any architectural requirement.
The new speakers and subs give installers versatile options for building new systems or augmenting existing systems. All products feature premium multitap transformers for use in distributed systems, and are switchable for direct operation.
“JBL’s new loudspeakers and subwoofers really check all the boxes for integrators,” says Rick Kamlet, senior manager, installed loudspeakers, Harman Professional Solutions. “They provide power and clarity in a range of challenging acoustic environments, and they don’t just sound great, they’re incredibly versatile. With sonic signatures that complement JBL’s existing installation products, they can be mixed and matched to create the perfect solution for any application or budget. And they’re absolutely gorgeous.”
The Control 68HP provides clarity and consistent coverage in rooms with open-architecture ceilings, spaces with challenging acoustics and other locations requiring especially high SPL capability from a pendant loudspeaker. Its driver complement features a 200mm (8") Kevlar-reinforced low-frequency driver with a high-powered 50mm (2-inch) voice coil.
The SLP12/T and SLP14/T loudspeakers provide broad, consistent coverage for boardrooms, restaurants, retail and hospitality spaces, museums and any installation application calling for superior sound in a discreet, close-to-the-wall form factor. Installation is fast and easy using an included slide-in wall bracket and both models are available in black or white finishes.
Compact, weather-resistant GSF3 (two-way coaxial 3-inch) and GFS6 (two-way coaxial 6-inch) aimable landscape loudspeakers provide elegant yet discreet sound solutions for diverse outdoor applications, including shopping malls, theme parks, sports venues and more. Both models deliver full-range, crystal-clear sound and can be extended further with JBL’s new GSB8 and GSB12 landscape subwoofers.
GSB8 (8") and GSB12 (12") in-ground landscape subwoofers augment GSF landscape speakers to provide full-range sound in lawn and garden areas of hotels, shopping complexes, restaurants, public spaces, theme parks or any application that demands deep, powerful bass. Both models extend down to 35 Hz, with a steep, multiple-slope lowpass filter for superior sound.
The Control 89MS is an IP56-rated subwoofer that features a long-throw 8-inch driver and augments the low-frequency performance of the JBL Control 80 Series.
