USA - Harman Professional Solutions brand products made a major impact at SXSW 2025, powering some of the festival’s top music venues with JBL Professional, Soundcraft, and AKG. This marked Harman’s most significant presence at the festival in years, reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class audio experiences.
One of the most significant activations at this year’s festival was Rolling Stone’s Future of Music at ACL Live at the Moody Theatre. Over the course of four days, the event featured a powerhouse lineup, including performances by Benson Boone, Megan Moroney, Ivan Cornejo, Rema, and more. The venue’s sound was elevated by JBL Professional’s flagship VTX line array system, with 24 VTX A12s serving as the main loudspeakers, 24 VTX A8s deployed as side clusters, and 15 VTX B28s ground-stacked subwoofers. Additionally, eight VTX A8s were used as front-fill loudspeakers, ensuring an even audio experience for the audience.
"The rig was expertly deployed and really highlighted all the details I was looking for. I even went as far as to unlock all my snapshots and update them all on the fly because I trusted that the results were going to translate everywhere else,” said Joey Diehl, Benson Boone’s FOH engineer praising the system’s performance. “I've used A12 in a ton of venues and festivals recently, and it's quickly earned its place as a reliable source to dig in and find out what's really happening with the sound. Out of all the JBL products, this box is definitely my fave," he said.
Harman Professional brand products also enhanced performances across multiple SXSW venues, delivering premium audio solutions for COLLiDE at Parlor Room and Third Man Records at 13th Floor. Each activation featured JBL PRX900 Series loudspeakers, Soundcraft mixing consoles, and AKG microphones, reinforcing Harman's reputation for excellence in live sound.
