The hands-on MI and Pro-Audio trade show saw attendees from across the industry turn out to see, hear and test out new product, pick up some deals, watch artists play, mingle with a number of industry stalwarts, and go home with extra profits.
The two marquees, the demonstration theatres and outside areas were bustling throughout, and visitors were entertained by music across three live stages, with electric sets played by the likes of Oliver/ Dawson Saxon, Jerry Donahue, John Verity, virtuoso acoustic offerings from the legendary Gordon Giltrap and
Raymond Burley, and a quirky Stylophone performances from Youtube sensation Brett Domino.
A stack of new products were on display, including the latest mixers, powered and passive speaker systems and rack processor units from Studiomaster. The new Lucas Nano 3 from HK Audio wowed the visitors over all four days, alongside its newly expanded Elements range.
A solid range of pro-audio products from Tannoy, LA Audio, Lab. Gruppen, Fishman and Carlsbro continued to excite and interest, with representatives such as Music & Sales?s Andreas Mayerl for HK Audio and Fishman's Scott Lombardo, Rob Ketch and Chris DeMaria on hand throughout the show, offering help and advice to dealers.
