Jim Digby
USA - Jim Digby, a 30 plus year veteran of the entertainment industry has accepted an invitation to join the Behind the Scenes Foundation Board of Directors. Jim is the founder and chairman of the Event Safety Alliance and owner of Collaborative Endeavor Group (CEG), which provides international touring strategies and complete production solutions for the live entertainment industry. He currently serves as director of touring and production for the multi-million selling artists Linkin Park, and has previously worked with artists as diverse as The Backstreet Boys, Bon Jovi, and Marilyn Manson. He is a four-time recipient of Tourlink's Production Manager of the year award, as well as Parnelli's Production Manager of the Year award for 2012.

Upon accepting the appointment, Jim commented, "I am humbled to be asked to serve on the Board of Directors of the BTS Foundation and contribute to its mission to support entertainment production professionals in unforeseen times of need. For most of us, the entertainment industry is more than a job; it is family. Members of a family support each other when times are tough and tragedy strikes. I look forward to helping serve the BTS organization and our sisters and brothers who have dedicated their lives to creating joy through entertainment."

Rick Rudolph, the chair of the Behind the Scenes Foundation, welcomed Jim to the Board saying, "We are thrilled to have Jim join us in our important work. His experience, enthusiasm, and proven concern for the well-being of his colleagues will add immeasurably to our efforts. Seeing the tremendous work Jim has done through the ESA to make our industry a safer place, it seemed a natural fit to the BTS Board to invite Jim to extend his efforts to assist those dealing with serious illness or injury. We know that Jim will also play a crucial role in getting the word out to our colleagues in the touring music industry that help is available to those in need."

The Behind the Scenes charity provides entertainment technology professionals who are seriously ill or injured with grants that may be used for basic living and medical expenses. For more information about Behind the Scenes, to donate, or to apply for a grant, visit www.behindthescenescharity.org.
