The full-rack, dual-channel, networkable transmitter is suited for the demands of professional touring and installation applications, and the diversity bodypack receiver delivers pristine RF signal and audio quality.
Cam Elias, Delta Goodrem's monitor engineer, is delighted with the performance of the Shure PSM 1000 systems on her recent Australian shows.
"The Delta Goodrem live shows require high end production with quality results," he remarked. "In regards to the sound, it is essential that the nine-piece band is on in-ears, and the artist's expectations are nothing less than perfection. JPJ supplied fourteen Shure PSM 1000's including a mix for the lighting director and video director who operate from FOH.
"The RF signal has been rock solid every night so far. In total we have twenty-four radio systems including the UR series microphones and wireless instruments. Obviously the PSM 1000's are a huge leap forward from the 600/700 systems of old, and a neat step forward from the 900's. I give the stage techs a pack in cue mix mode so they can listen to whichever mix they want. They are very easy to use and the headphone amp sounds good. The scan, sync and wireless workbench integration features are very handy. Delta and the band are very happy - as am I - to have them on my spec."
"The new PSM 1000's from Shure are extremely reliable and sound great according to many of our clients," added Jim Straw, JPJ Audio's CEO. "It's been a long time coming to get new in-ear wireless product from Shure, but now that they're here we couldn't be happier with the quality and reliability. We are seeing PSM 1000's appearing on many international riders and as such we have purchased them to meet this demand."
