Ken DeLoria
USA - Void Acoustics, designer and manufacturer of advanced professional audio systems for the installed and live sound markets, continues its dynamic growth by appointing industry veteran Ken DeLoria as VP Sales & Marketing, and launching Void Acoustics USA.

Ken brings his immense pro-audio experience to Void, and will also head up the company's US subsidiary, Void Acoustics USA, LLC, based in Portland, Oregon.The US subsidiary will serve The United States, Central and South America, Canada Mexico, while also acting as a liaison point for numerous other territories.

Alex Skan, managing director of Void Acoustics, commented: "Ken DeLoria agreeing to join our company marks a significant turning point in Void's evolution. Ken DeLoria explained: "I'm very happy to have found a home at Void . . . When Alex Skan invited me to visit Void's UK headquarters, I was intrigued. During my visit, I had the opportunity to view the company as it operates on a day-to-day basis - to examine components and materials first-hand, and to listen to the company's many loudspeaker and amplifier designs as critically as possible. I couldn't have been more satisfied! This creative young company has effectively re-defined the loudspeaker and amplifier industry. It's now my task to show the world where the future of sound is headed."

Ken DeLoria was the founder and former CEO of Apogee Sound Incorporated, a manufacturer of loudspeakers, amplifiers and signal processors that enjoyed significant worldwide success. The company was widely recognized as a leader in technology innovation for nearly two decades.

Following the sale of Apogee to a public company in 1999, DeLoria joined Digidesign as Worldwide director of live sound, to launch the company's VENUE Digital Mixing Environment. He later worked with Community Professional Loudspeakers as its product manager. Over the years, DeLoria has also been a lead engineer for seven GRAMMY Productions, six OSCAR Productions, several US Political Conventions and two SuperBowls, in addition to a host of theatrical shows, music tours, televised events and permanent installations - ranging from prestigious dance clubs to religious facilities.

DeLoria concluded: "As successful as Void has been to date, we still have a lot more ground to conquer. My mission is to bring Void's innovative designs, impeccable sound quality and astounding aesthetics to the key markets throughout the world, to make it a better sounding place."
