The PC controller mirrors the operation of the units themselves, allowing instant and simultaneous online control of up to 64 channels of EQ from a laptop, tablet computer or compatible device. The unique 'FastNav' feature allows access to any function of any channel with just two button clicks, making control of even the largest systems quick and simple. The software has been extensively beta-tested on numerous events and tours with excellent results.
The Graphical User Interface is intuitive and straightforward to use. The Homepage provides a composite view of the overall operation of any channel and full real-time metering is provided for all channels. The software is available now as a free download from the company's website.
"This makes an already powerful and flexible system even easier to operate and programme," says Klark Teknik and Midas international sales manager David Wiggins. "The engineer is no longer required to be in front of the units in order to programme them. This offers clear benefits for initial system equalization, as he has the option to take his laptop and set up the system from the optimum listening position in order to obtain the best results. On-the-fly tweaks can be made either via the units themselves in the traditional manner, or via the PC, thus offering the engineer the choice of how he wishes to work."
