USA - L-Acoustics has announced that it has been named for the third time in Fast Company's annual list of the World's Most Innovative Companies of 2025, reaching #2 on the list of top innovative companies in the events, concerts, and live experiences industry, recognised specifically “for changing the way Broadway shows sound.”

The 2025 list celebrates companies that consistently drive innovation and shape the future of their industries – a principle that has guided L-Acoustics since its founding, from pioneering line array technology to today's cutting-edge immersive sound solutions.

"Being recognised by Fast Company as a top innovator for the third time in six years is both an extraordinary honour and a testament to the ongoing commitment to innovation at L-Acoustics," says Laurent Vaissié, CEO at L-Acoustics. "This recognition reinforces our mission of connecting humans through the best shared sound experiences and our dedication to continually pushing sound forward through engineering and creativity in a sustainable way."

The company's relentless pursuit of excellence in sound reinforcement has led to the development of L-ISA immersive technology, which has ‘revolutionised spatial sound experiences’, notably in the 2024 Tony-winning musical The Outsiders. For this production, sound designer Cody Spencer utilised L-ISA paired with the newly launched L Series speakers throughout the entire show, creating an immersive audio experience for all scenes, including a particularly challenging rumble sequence with its on-stage rain curtain. The sound clarity and compact footprint of L Series enabled precise sonic projection, helping Spencer earn the Tony Award for Best Sound Design for the musical.

"Our list of the Most Innovative Companies offers both a comprehensive look at innovation today and a playbook for the future," said Fast Company editor-in-chief Brendan Vaughan. "This year, we recognise companies that are harnessing AI in deep and meaningful ways, brands that are turning customers into superfans by overdelivering for them, and challengers that are introducing bold ideas and vital competition to their industries. At a time when the world is rapidly shifting, these companies are charting the way forward."
