Sweden - The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio recently announced that Lab.gruppen's PLM 10000Q has been nominated for a Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award in the Amplifier Technology category. The TEC Awards, sponsored by Mix magazine, is the world's most prominent forum honoring outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product design. Winners will be announced in San Francisco on 3 October during the Audio Engineering Society (AES) convention.

Conceived from the outset as a comprehensive drive system for any type of loudspeaker, the PLM 10000Q utilises proven Dolby Lake Processor technology and expands upon it with a suite of load verification and performance monitoring features. Its power amplification builds on the foundation of the road-tested FP+ and fP Series providing the same sonic signature. The PLM Series establishes new benchmarks for high power and channel density, while at the same time providing digital signal processing, system management, and protection features found in no other product, say Lab.gruppen.
