Outfitting the venue with clear yet robust sound was no small undertaking, requiring a system that could handle spaces designed for sipping on a cocktail and chatting with friends and others created for electrifying live performances. The owners called in local sound company Canarias Hipermusic to provide a comprehensive solution to the different needs of the Terraza Kopa, and after analyzing the venue the technicians recommended the use of professional sound systems from D.A.S. Audio's extensive product range.
D.A.S. Series Action and Aero Series 2 systems were brought in to provide the sound at Terraza Kopa, their versatility and reliability crucial for installations at these types of clubs. Twelve Action 12As were distributed throughout the terrace, where guests can kick back and enjoy a cocktail in sofas and lounge chairs and soak in the Canary Island's fantastic climate. These user-friendly systems feature a 12-inch speaker, 1000 W peak power and Class D biamplification, with a power and definition that guarantee reliable, professional sound.
On weekend nights the venue's stage hosts live music performances that turn Kopa Las Palmas into a nightclub. Here the team recommended the installation of the critically acclaimed Aero Series 2 line array systems to ensure superb sound for guests looking to dance the night away.
A total of eight D.A.S. Aero 8A ultra-compact powered line array systems were installed in two clusters of four systems each on either side of the stage. Four D.A.S. LX-215A powered subwoofers were also brought in to ensure an extended bass response.
