The BM1 boundary-layer microphone
UK - LD Systems has introduced the BM1 boundary-layer microphone, an electret condenser microphone with a hemispherical directional characteristic. Designed for the micing of upright and grand pianos on stage or in the studio, additional applications include conferencing technology, micing of roundtable discussions and theatrical performances.

According to Andrew Richardson, managing director of Adam Hall UK, "The BM1 boundary-layer microphone is a rugged unit that can be used for conferencing applications as well as traditional audio scenarios."
