The set design has been created to reflect the medieval nature of GOT whilst bringing a modern feel to the overall look
UK - Filmed in front of a live studio audience at Sky Studios, Thronecast is the fan companion series that analyses, debates and comments on the latest season of Game of Thrones.

The set design has been created to reflect the medieval nature of GOT whilst bringing a definite clean, modern feel to the overall look. Lighting designer Iain Davidson has introduced some delicate lighting effects that allow for subtle movement across the lattice work that borders the stage, with soft, low key illumination throughout the interview area. LED Creative added a selection of LED solutions to add crisp highlights and accents to the set that introduce clean, controllable highlights without distracting from the overall design.

LED Creative worked alongside the production design crew from the initial concept stages of the show, helping create the desired look using an intricate network of custom built, energy efficient illumination that includes the LC Alpha LED system plus a suite of custom built LED Lightboxes that have been integrated into the build.

Commenting on the company's involvement, LED creative director Adam Howard says, "It's been great working with the Thronecast team at Sky Studios. Iain did a fantastic job, particularly with the gobo effects that pepper the set and we're delighted to have been able to compliment the look with our Alpha system and lightboxes."
