An alliance was initially formed between Trantec and Leisuretec in the early 1990's during the disco and aerobic market boom, at which time both companies enjoyed the success of the thriving entertainment markets. For over 15 years they have continued to trade, enjoying a long standing relationship. 2009 saw Leisuretec reach new heights with the brand, becoming Trantec's top grossing distributor.
