Lifting, and rigging sales specialists Lift-Turn-Move (LTM) - celebrate their second birthday at PLASA 06.

Visitors can expect a warm welcome from the LTM team who will have a special cake on the stand to help celebrate the occasion, as well as a selection of their wide range of Lodestar hoists, motor control systems and other rigging equipment and accessories.

The LTM team will also be on hand to discuss their latest training initiatives, an element that key individuals in the company have pioneered in the industry for the last 12 years.

LTM offers a range of lifting and rigging equipment including the Lodestar and Prostar electric chain hoists, which are being highlighted at the show. High integrity hoisting systems are also available including equipment to BGV C1 German safety standard. Special features include double brakes, load sensing and multiple limit switches. Variable speed units and manual or computerised controllers are available to monitor safety features and drive the equipment.

LTM offers a range of spare parts for Lodestars and Prostars plus repairs and routine servicing, with staff fully trained in both standard equipment and BGV C1 certified equipment. Also showing is the compact CM Prostar hoists, with increased capacities and speeds. This higher speed version will lift at 6 or 10 m/min (increased from the industry standard four metres a minute). A very small, lightweight 250 kg at 4m/minute version is also shown. There will also be a "surprise" Lodestar on show.

LTM started manufacturing hoist controllers a year ago and have constructed systems for both direct control and low voltage controlled hoists. The past 12 months have seen the range of equipment grow, from four channel to 42 channel units. Most are movable flight cased units, but many wall-mounted systems have also been built and supplied for permanent installations. LTM can design and construct bespoke control systems to fit client's exact and specific requirements.

LTM will show an extended range of hand winches, as previewed in their new catalogue and reference guide, which is also available from the stand.

LTM has just opened a new training facility at its Wirral, Merseyside HQ, and is aiming to hold comprehensive product training schools for Lodestar hoists - having completed numerous on-site training courses in the last 12 months. The new facility offers great opportunities for those eager to expand their technical horizons.
