Designed and built by SGM, Synthesis is the first of a new generation of moving head fixtures from SGM. Featuring two types of interchangeable 700W lamps, with automatic hot re-strike, colour mixing, precise linear dimmer, automatic electronic pan/tilt unlocking and silent operation. Synthesis achieves exceptional brightness, and is the world's first moving head fixture fitted with wireless DMX as standard and using technology with an operating radius of over 500m.
Other SGM products on display will be the Palco LED colour-changer and the Regia Lighting Desks including the new Desk Pilot 3000.
New from Xilver is the Xolar LT, a batten shaped long-throw lighting fixture designed for touring and installations. With a total beam angle of two degrees, it contains 16 segments either as individual, sectional or a single unit, and is controlled via DMX and the Xilver serial interface.
From Swedish company Wireless Solutions AB the Black Box transmitters, receivers and repeaters including the W-DMX Black Box Outdoor are on show. This is IP65 rated and operates in temperatures from -20 up to + 50 degrees Celsius. It has an inbuilt AC/DC accepting 90-250V universal power supply delivered with standard RP-SMA to follow ETSI and FCC regulations. With FCC regulation and a different antenna, the outdoor model can go wireless in line of sight up to 20 kilometres between transmitter and receiver. W-DMX Black Box IP65 is protected with a PIN code, each system listens only to itself, making it possible to run 16 DMX 512 universes (8192 channels) on the same spot without interference.
In addition LightProcessor manufactures an extensive range of lighting control products, including the ever popular QCommander and QCommander II moving light consoles, LightProcessor Zip desks and the Paradim and Dimension dimming ranges. PLASA 05 will feature the latest models in the Dimension range of installation dimmers the LightProcessor Dimension 1210. This is a wall mounted dimmer available as single or three phase, with MCB breakers on each circuit, user-replaceable triacs plus many other features available as DMX or DMX with onboard memory.
Other products on stand from LightProcessor include the Dimension 12 Channel Rack mounted dimmer, Paradim digital dimmer range, Paradim installation dimmers, Dimension Memory dimming range and DMX Tools.Finally, also on the Lightfactor stand, LDR will introduce the new Canto 250HR, based on the new ceramic lamp from Philips, which provides 3200 K and a CRI>90.
