Lightfactor's Peter Coles comments: "We needed to fill the gap in the 3 - 5k high power luminaire range, for both indoor and outdoor applications. The High-Ground is ideal - it can be floor or truss mounted and it is versatile, well made and extremely cost effective." He adds that they will be announcing some major High-Ground sales shortly, and that hopes Novalight's new Nova-flower will be just as successful.
The DMX-controlled Novalight High-Ground uses a 2000W MSR lightsource and outputs an impressive 174,000 lumens. The moving yoke version pans 540 in 3.2 seconds and tilts 262 degrees in 2.9 seconds making it a very agile fixture. Offering five dichroic colours and white, plus shutter and strobe effects, it also has the advantage of having no central 'black hole' when the beam is opened to maximum.
Novalight's Marcello Bertini says: "We were looking for a strong UK partner, and Lightfactor met all the criteria. They have been in the business a long time and know the market exceedingly well. The sales team has great energy, enthusiasm and can offer superb support and backup, so we look forward to a fruitful collaboration."
