Exhibiting for the first time, the LightGeist team was delighted with the impact the new products had on visitors and the instant response they generated.
"Visitors were fascinated with the effects produced by LightStick and the flexibility and versatility of Badger and Splodger," says LightGeist CCO, Nigel Hedley. "Our new 'cloud lighting' technology aroused great curiosity and we are encouraged by the number of designers and technicians who have expressed an interest in incorporating these exciting new products into upcoming projects."
LightGeist's LightStick, Badger and Splodger are based on a cablefree RGB LED solution which can be adapted to expand lighting displays into the audience at music, entertainment, sporting, corporate and retail events. En masse these can be deployed to form a 'living' video wall to engage audiences in a totally immersive experience or used as 'landscape' lighting to provide moving images on the ground or on walls for an all encompassing environment.
"The constant flow of visitors to our stand confirms our belief that our products are in universal demand," says LightGeist CEO, Liza Sutherland. "We found the show energetic and positive, with enquiries coming from lighting designers, event organisers and leasing companies throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, South Africa, Middle East and USA.
"The market spread has proved comprehensive across all areas including corporate events, sports events, music festivals and touring. We are confident that Prolight & Sound has put LightGeist firmly on the map and the future is looking very exciting."
LightGeist will embark on a European road show this summer.
