The 6mm screen's high resolution has made it a firm favourite for motor shows, where great quality is essential and it was most recently seen at the Casa Azzuri, home to the Italian football team, during Euro 2004.
Screen rental company The Picture Works created a stunning display using Lighthouse's unique 10mm indoor/outdoor panels, the only product in the market which successfully uses SMD LED for outdoor applications, according to Lighthouse. The screen is capable of 5000 Nits brightness, which means it can be used outdoors in full sunlight and is still fully visible. Its 10mm pixel pitch gives it the versatility to make it suitable for a variety of high-resolution applications.
Finally, digital mixing console manufacturer DiGiCo's stand boasted a panel of Lighthouse's monoblock 6mm LED TV screen. Chosen as a high brightness alternative to plasma screens, monoblock panels are currently in use at the entrance to 86 of New York's subway stations and can be used as either stand-alone units or fully networked screens. "We've had a great response from our first PLASA," said Lighthouse managing director Mark Chan. "Our screens really stood out and we've had excellent feedback from existing and potential customers alike."
