Last year, Palmé was the first person to take full advantage of the new in-house Robe lighting rigs that were installed across all three of Vanemuine's venues, when he lit a very successful production of Grease, also in the Big House.

This year with Evita, he again utilized Robe's products to upgrade and revitalize the production's lighting which was originally staged in Turku, Finland in 2008.

The Big House lighting system includes over 100 Robe moving lights including 56 x Robin LEDWash 1200s, 20 x Robin MMX Spots, 24 x Rob

Aleksander did a complete digital solid-state lighting installation for a new studio layout he designed that's dedicated to news programming. "Everything was predicated on energy-efficient lighting from the start," he explains. "Since it was new, we were able to build out the studio without the traditional heavy support for cooling down the lights and the full dimming load normally necessary for an incandescent approach. We used all fluorescent and LED lighting."

Lighting designer Jaz Bhullar used two Avolites Sapphire Touch consoles to create striking and original lighting for the shows - one live and one for backup.

The installation, inspired by the 4D shape of the same name, happens inside a 10.5 x 11m or 14 x 14m scaffold cube. Audiences are invited into the sculpture where a six-minute light show takes place using solely Clay Paky Sharpys.

Potts specified the VL3000s, which were provided by leading supplier PRG, to skillfully bring to life the band's signature icon, the instantly recognisable line drawing of a face, as part of his design. The project was the initiative of resident filmmaker, Johnny Breedt and his business partner, Charon Landman. Significantly, Breedt had worked on the movie adaption Mandela: The Long Walk to Freedom, and of course the movie's release, the death of South Africa's beloved Nelson Mandela and the opening of The Showroom, all coincided within days of each other.

The lighting design is by Nicholas Rayment with Kyle Bockmann programming his lighting with a brand new Eos Titanium, ETC's flagship lighting control console.

It was the first time that Stemac had worked with Colour Sound whose project manager Fletch comments, "We really enjoyed this tour. the design was refreshingly different and a lot of fun and Steve and his team were a joy to work with."

Freelance lighting designer Pavel Jelinek - one of the country's top television LDs - was asked to light the show - for which he specified Robe moving lights, including 18 x Robin Pointes together with four Robin LEDWash 1200 and four Robin LEDWash 600s.

Wireless Solution Sweden was founded in 2003 and the first W-DMX product to market was debuted in March 2004 at the SIB Show in Rimini. Later that same year, Wireless Solution won the Innovation Award at PLASA.
