Hungary - Lightware Visual Engineering has announced its latest AV solutions, designed to deliver flexible, high-quality AV-over-IP connectivity hybrid work and meeting room AV environments. The new Taurus TPN and Gemini GVN products address the growing demand for seamless, real-time connectivity and outstanding performance in collaborative workspaces and mission-critical environments, says the company.
The Lightware Taurus TPN is a device for large meeting rooms, boardrooms, and conference settings. It offers USB-C and SDVoE technology for high-quality HDMI 2.0 4K60 4:4:4 matrix switching over 10G Ethernet networks, with a range of up to 100 metres. Its independent USB 2.0 matrix switching layer supports multiple devices, providing users with automated and manual switching options. This ensures seamless video transitions and an exceptional AV experience, making the Taurus TPN an ideal solution for dynamic, high-performance environments.
Taurus TPN users can experience the power of 4K resolution and ‘stunning visuals’, enabling organisations to create an ecosystem of networked devices and screens from a single source. Content can be sent anywhere, enabling organisations to unlock a more versatile meeting room experience and meet the needs of today’s hybrid environments.
For larger and more complex AV installations, the Lightware Gemini GVN is a powerful IP-based matrix switching solution. Operating on a 1G Ethernet network, the Gemini GVN boasts low power consumption (~10W), reducing energy costs and environmental impact, all while being able to handle 4K60 4:4:4.
Equipped with Lightware's Advanced EDID Management system, the Gemini GVN ensures that the decoders are capable of scaling HDMI 2.0 video signals up to a maximum resolution of 4K60 either on CAT (up to 100m) or on fibre optics (up to 10 kms) with HDR, HDR+, and Dolby Vision support.
“Today’s hybrid working environments are at their best when supported by high-performance AV infrastructure and connectivity solutions, such as the Taurus TPN and Gemini GVN,” says Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware. “By meeting this growing market need, we are enabling systems integrators and customers to deliver transformative collaborative experiences that today’s digital-centric organisations are looking for.”
