Linea Research will be making its NAMM debut at the Annehim event
USA - Linea Research amplifier and DSP specialist will be making its first NAMM Show appearance at this year’s event in Anaheim.
“We’re very pleased the NAMM Show has expanded to encompass more pro-audio,” comments Rik Kirby of Linea Research USA. “It’s a great way to kick the year off and meet with so many of our reps and business partners, and to launch our new FIR capable amplifiers.”
On display will be Linea Research’s range of four and eight channel networked DSP amplifiers, the portable and touring focused M Series and the installation and contractor C Series. Both series offer models with power ratings from 400W to 5,000W per channel, all with 96kHz DSP and optional Dante networked audio.
New for 2018 Linea Research is introducing FIR capable versions of its amplifiers allowing users to import loudspeaker manufacturer “greybox” FIR settings. “This capability has been much-requested and we’ve been able to implement it at 96kHz giving improved sound quality over 48kHz solutions,” remarks Kirby.
Also in attendance will be Linea Research’s newest addition Margie Kirby of US distributor Allied Professional Technologies. “I’m excited that NAMM will be my first outing representing Linea Research,” says Margie, who will be working closely with Linea Research on their US and global marketing efforts.
