Link, a leading manufacturer and distributor of products specifically designed to solve wiring and connectivity problems within the entertainment and broadcast industries, will feature the following:
The LK Gigabit (LKG) series hybrid connector is equipped with a CAT6 circular contact specifically designed to provide robust Gigabit Ethernet connections in addition to the conventional power and signal contacts that are typical in the LK series connectors.
The LKG ensures that CAT6 1000BASE-T signals can be transmitted up to 90 meters with minimal attenuation while leaving headroom for the eurocable fan in/fan out terminations. The CAT6 contacts are compliant with EIA/TIA 568B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards.
The eurocable LSZH PUR multi-mode and single-mode fibre optic cables were created to satisfy the most demanding elements of the touring market where robust optical transmission is critical. A Kevlar reinforced polyurethane jacket protects the single mode or multi-mode fibre. The LSZH series is available in single or multi-mode with configurations of two or four strands and can be terminated to the Link LK series euroBeam expanded beam style optical connector or to a Neutrik OpticalCon on request.
The eurocable Hybrid HD Camera Cable with 2 ea. SM 9/125 + 4 ea. 20AWG. + 2 ea. 24AWG. is compliant with the SMPTE 311M-Standard, contains Single-Mode Optical Fibres, Auxiliary and Signal Conductors. This robust cable facilitates the interconnection of cameras and base station for the simultaneous transmission of power, video, audio and control. The Hybrid HD Camera Cable is ideal for new digital camera systems of major manufacturers.
Based on the Cisco SG300-10 Series Switches, the Link, DGlink HW C08-2 Ethernet Switch is a 1U rugged standard rack unit with 8 ports 10/100/1000 plus two Combo SFP slots to support a range of 1 Gigabit optical connections. With redundant circuit boards and a redundant power supply, the DGlink range of switches can eliminate all single points of failure in your Ethernet infrastructure.
The DGlink switches offer a variety of features providing convenience, improved performance, and advanced capabilities such as Static routing/Layer 3 IP switching between VLANs which allows you to segment your network into separate workgroups and communicate across VLANs without degrading application performance. And the strong security feature which includes an access control lists (ACLs), guest virtual LANs (VLANs), and other advanced security features to tightly control networks.
Link will also present the expanded components of the DGlink Media Network.
Complementing the DGlink, Digital Stage Box that debuted 3 years ago, Link has developed the following new components: DGlink Protocol Convertor (MADI, EtherSound, Dante); DGlink Optical Interface System capable of transporting up to 18 distinct networks (audio, video, Ethernet, DMX) via one redundant fibre backbone; DGlink AES-EBU Drive Module reclocks, rebuffers, splits, and distributes 12 channels of AES-EBU digital audio + CAN bus throughout multiple amplifier racks.
"From its inception, the DGlink architecture was designed to be modular and simultaneously support multiple digital protocols, stated Marco Piromalli, president of Link. "We have supported Dante and EtherSound for the past couple of years and with the recent addition of MADI significantly enhances the audio transport capabilities of our digital stagebox system while positioning Link as the most flexible connectivity company in the market. We are also pleased to debut the DGlink Switch AVB series at PLASA Focus."
