Litestructures will handle the manufacture of LiteConsole in the UK with Gear4DJs managing the distribution worldwide from its brand new warehouse (opening summer 2014). Nick McGeachin, the driving force behind LiteConsole, will be fully focused in the new company on increasing sales and continuing development of the product platform.
Gear4DJs will add specific dedicated back office LiteConsole staff to support Nick, the growing network of official dealers, and to provide direct customer support. Nick McGeachin said, "This initiative represents a wonderful new dawn for LiteConsole. As all of our customers know - be they a distributor, dealer or end user - I have a great affinity with the market that LiteConsole proudly serves and see a very bright future ahead."
From the moment the first ever LiteConsole was designed as a special project for Paul Oakenfold in 2008, the product range has gone from strength to strength. The launch of the LiteConsole XPRS in 2012 created an explosion in DJs using performance platforms within their setup. In just a few years DJ booths have become a must in all mobile and club setups.
LiteConsole has remained a leading brand within this market and demand continues to grow rapidly. MD of Gear4DJs, Olly Slator, stated, "From the moment I first saw the XPRS I knew it was a special piece of engineering. Gear4DJs was one of the first retailers to order large quantities of the LiteConsole but immediately demand outstripped supply. We receive daily enquiries from all over the world and have shipped the product as far as the USA, Canada and Australia. I am very excited to play such a crucial role in the next chapter of the LiteConsole."
Lee Brooks, MD of Litestructures, commented, "We realised that the continuous international demand for the LiteConsole range could only be served by a dedicated sales company. This marriage brings together the perfect logistical solution, powered by an obvious passion for the product range."
