Litetec first contacted Business Link for Essex in search of advice on how to obtain ISO recognition. It became clear to Business Link adviser Angela Kimberley that they would need to look at other areas of business development in order to achieve this standard. Litetec needed to consider developing a new corporate identity and planning their sales strategy. An action plan was put together including a website development strategy, assisted by another adviser Colin Harvey. Specialists from Business Link's consultants' register were also brought in to help with ISO and re-branding.
Throughout the development process, Angela Kimberley provided overall project management advice for the company, she commented: "Litetec clearly had the potential to expand their business but they needed support and advice on developing their brand. We were able to put them in touch with the right people for the job and through a lot of hard work and dedication, they have successfully developed a more appealing and suitable look for their type of industry."
Paul Wale, co-founder of Litetec, said: "We are delighted to welcome Pat Smith to our new showroom, which showcases our new and improved brand. Thanks to our newly designed website, orders are now coming in thick and fast and we have had to move to larger premises to allow for further growth. We look forward to welcoming members of the public at our formal launch party between 12 and 2pm on Wednesday 3rd December."
Commenting on the new showroom, Pat Smith said: "Litetec has invested a lot of time and energy into making these projects work and I am very impressed by their achievements. I have every confidence that this company will grow from strength to strength."
