Melomani, D.A.S. Audio's exclusive distributor in Turkey, was called in to handle the sound installation for this upscale resort. The Melomani sound technicians, faced with the challenge of providing audio for a range of different spaces, knew that the extensive range and versatility of D.A.S. Audio professional sound systems would be the ideal solution for adapting the sound across the resort.
The technicians opted to bring in D.A.S. Audio's Event Line Array systems for Litore's massive outdoor and pool area, where a stage is set up for the variety of performances and activities held for the resort's guests. Specifically, three hangs of seven Event 210A line arrays each were installed as the main PA for the stage and surrounding outdoor area, along with three Action 218A powered subwoofers paired with two DR-512A bass loudspeakers to provide robust sound and the crucial low-frequency punch.
The massive 1,300 m2 swimming pool and swim-up bar were covered by DR-512A and Arco 24T systems, a combination of design and function that blends seamlessly into the carefully selected décor. The entire outdoor system was completed with portable D.A.S. Avant and DR systems; these powered, full-range solutions can be easily configured to adapt to the requirements of the resort's range of outdoor activities.
Inside, the Melomani technicians recommended a combination of systems from D.A.S. Audio's Reference and Action series in Litore's nightclub. Four RF-12.85 systems were installed together with Action 218A powered subwoofers, a combination that offers top sound quality and power to ensure guests have a great time dancing the night away. The system was rounded out with a DR-512A bass loudspeakers and a D.A.S. DSP-23 digital signal processor to control and manage the signal for the entire system.
A total of 120 CL-6T and 30 Arco 4T and 24T systems deployed in the gym and fitness zone, and DR-8 systems were installed along CL-8T ceiling speakers in the resort's three conference rooms to offer superb speech intelligibility, a critical feature in these types of spaces.
