The lasers were used for four songs during the 75-minute set. The lasers were positioned stage left and right next to the large video screens and one at the back of centre stage projecting over the band towards the audience. The laser show consisted of a range of high impact beams and atmospheric effects and flat scan effects for the slower songs, say LM Productions.
The company also reports the provision of a laser show for the Chemical Brothers' Push the Button tour, which travelled across the world to Australia, Asia, Europe, UK and the USA, with shows at various high profile festivals during the summer, including Glastonbury, Creamfields and the V Festival.
The company supplied three DPSS green lasers, controlled via DMX through a lighting desk. One laser was fixed under the band's set and the remaining two lasers positioned either side of the stage, all creating atmospheric beam effects co-ordinated with the music. The last section of the tour in the UK and Ireland finished this weekend with two dates at the Brixton Academy.
