Sue Ellis, operations director, commented: "Large orders from the likes of Electro-Systems in Singapore meant that we were working 24-hour shifts before Christmas and it became obvious that we needed to move into new premises such that we can meet customer's expectations more readily in the future."
The new facility incorporates all manufacturing processes, from CAD drawing through to new CNC manufacturing, R&D facility and office space for administration. Managing director Chris Scott commented: "All our cabinet manufacturing is in-house; we even produce our own passive networks here, as well. It ensures that our quality control is second to none in the industry. All our cabinets are manufactured from Birch ply and there are no pressed steel chassis loudspeakers used in our road products. It's what we are known for - producing high quality products that meet and more often or not exceed our customer's expectations."
Logic has recently reorganized its dealer structure in the UK with the appointment of several product partners, all specialists chosen for their expertise in marketing the high quality products that form the basis of the Logic System range. This includes the new Ethos Collection, a collection of products with applications within live sound, which includes Ethos Array (VA, B2 and SB2) B, LM and LS Series. The newest addition to the Product partners is London based Orbital Sound.
The full production versions of the Ethos collection will be on show for the first time at the ProLight&Sound exhibition in Frankfurt next month: on the Logic System stand (Hall 8 Stand No. J34) will be: Ethos Array (vertically arraying enclosure), Ethos B (a range of five bass enclosures that integrate with all other Logic full-range enclosures), Ethos LM (a range of stage monitors), Ethos LS (full-range enclosures with applications within AV, church and theatre) and the IS Series (aimed at the theme bar and installation market, and offering a choice of four full-range enclosures which can be combined with Ethos B bass enclosures.
"We're looking at expanding our International Distributor Network this year and see the Frankfurt show as the starting point for achieving this. We have representation in several countries but we are now much better positioned to expand further," said Scott. "All in all it's been a busy year already and we can't wait for the rest of it!"
