The attendees from LTM comprised of Clare Sheppard from Sales, Alison Marshall from Marketing and Jack Triggs from the Workshop. Jack Triggs stated, "Today has been extremely beneficial, I am based in the workshop building the hoists I have never had the opportunity to see what the hoists were used for in a concert, it gave me a great overview of how the hoists are used."
The LTM team enjoyed watching the rigging by SSE Audio's Perttu Korteniemi, Pete Hughes and Brandon Reece who used eight of the LG16's, four of the LG10's and two of the LG Minis to hang their L-acoustics system comprising two K1 hangs (LG16), two K2 hangs (LG16), and two K sub hangs (LG10). The LoadGuard minis were used as cable picks.
SSE's Russell Holt stated, "We are really happy with the hoists, they are extremely quiet and allow quick load in, we especially liked the LoadGuard mini it as it is so light weight. We have worked closely with LTM to develop the hoists to best suit a touring environment"
The LoadGuard Hoist has really taken off in the production world since its introduction in 2009 and is seen seen in venues all over the world such as Glasgow Emirates Arena and Velodrome, The ACC Liverpool Arena and The World Trade Centre, Dubai. The reputation of the hoist has grown and customers are now realising the full benefits of the LoadGuard Hoist as a rigging Hoist for touring use, SSE being one of the first to take the hoists out in a touring capacity.
