The outlet is located in an area popular among back-packers from other countries. Here they are welcomed by the sound of two pairs of Wharfedale Pro LA-15P which are used to playback both live performance, which the venue has now introduced, as well as piped-in music. Meanwhile, Sakura Cafe & Cuisine has been a popular restaurant since the 1970s, serving a mix of local and continental food. As part of the recent renovation works, the owners opted to include nine pairs of Wharfedale Pro Force 1, distributed around the two floors of the restaurant, to provide easy listening for the diners.
Across in Bukit Bintang - in the hub of the entertainment triangle of Kuala Lumpur - we find the open area of BB Park, which plays host to a number of restaurants. Ten Force 2190s - placed mid-way up the pillars, fronting the entrances to restaurants like Outback Steakhouse and Bangkok Jam - carry the music to the al fresco diners. So impressed were Bangkok Jam that they went a stage further - requisitioning six pairs of Wharfedale Force 1s to be installed on both floors of the restaurant itself. The scene wouldn’t be complete without a karaoke restaurant - and enthusiastic singers at The Chinese Restaurant within the Melia Hotel now take centre stage to stretch their vocal chords through two pairs of Force 3190s - which may or may not enhance the famous Wharfedale brand image!
