Germany - ProLight&Sound 2003: Marantz Professional strengthened its broadcast and installation ranges. New additions included the PMD930 pro DVD player, which is, say Marantz, the only DVD player compatible with all current DVD formats - DVD-R general and authoring, DVD-RW, DVD+RW and commercially replicated discs - as well as NTSC and PAL via its onboard converters.

Next, the PMD325 pro CD player is designed for maximum flexibility, and features control possibilities including Infra-Red, cabled Infra-Red, bi-directional RS232C and hardwired GPI I/O for easy integration. It also has a built-in MP3 decoder, allowing playback of MP3 files directly from CDR, together with a full range of professional outputs. The CC4300P represents the very latest multi-disc CD changer for commercial installation, now with RS232C remote control, in addition to the standard cabled and IR RC5. The unit has a five-disc carousel, but four of its five discs can be changed during playback.

Other new items include the PM7200Pro amplifier, the PMD351 CD/cassette player, and the DV4300P entry level DVD player.
