The 2013 Dusseldorf Boat Show
Germany - MasterCraft Boat Company, a premium manufacturer of inboard wakeboarding, water skiing and luxury performance boats, and known across the globe for its impressive boat show displays, has unveiled their biggest effort yet ...with a little help from Martin Professional.

Debuting two brand new models at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January, Martin equipment added extra dynamic to the presentation with logo projection and colour wash at the centrepiece of the display - the all new MasterCraft XSTAR.

Providing control for the show was the Martin LightJockey USB DMX. Will Furze, MasterCraft international marketing manager, comments, "I've been a fan of Martin products since the 3032 era and the LightJockey 2 provides the perfect control format for my needs at our International boat shows. The speed at which I can program, especially when time is extremely limited, is truly invaluable and the auto-start features are fantastic, meaning the show staff can easily start everything running each day from a couple of simple mouse clicks."

The Martin USB Duo DMX Interface, upgraded from the USB II for this show, was done via the Martin Lightjockey Exchange Programme. Furze comments, "The program offered by Martin to upgrade the LightJockey hardware is one of a kind. The benefits offered with the new USB Duo DMX hardware and inclusion of the Martin One-Key made complete sense and after a quick call to my local dealer - AC Lighting - a new unit was traded in for the older one and I now have the latest hardware, as well as a wealth of additional unexpected benefits such as two universes on M-PC and even a discounted licence for Martin ShowDesigner - the MSD5 MC Edition! Unbelievably simple and extremely beneficial, with peace of mind that my software licence is safe and secure, overall a fantastic experience.

"Even though the Lightjockey 2 is more than adequate for the current shows, having the ability to use M-PC is very reassuring knowing that we are fully future-proof as our displays get more complex year on year."

Visitors' attention was drawn to the XSTAR via colour washes and MasterCraft logos which were projected around the 440 m2 stand by Martin MAC 2000s.
