Nick Whitehead's lighting design was dominated by gobo projections from High End Studio Spots (which echoed the conference logo), while MCL's newly-acquired LED Color Blast luminaires were used to provide colour-change on the lectern and the top tables. A generic lighting rig provided house lighting. MCL's audio department supplied a 16-speaker d&b rig for speech reinforcement, mixed on a Soundcraft 24-channel K3 which took feeds from the radio mics and PC's. Rob Day reports that Elsevier were delighted with the level of technical support generated over the two-day event.
