This solution combines Merging Technologies' newly released Ovation 6 with Genelec's pre-production RAVENNA/AES67 powered 4420 model, in an 18 speaker array which delivers an unparalleled, high quality immersive experience.
"Immersive audio and AoIP are the spotlight and interest is really picking up amongst systems integrators, comments Chris Hollebone, sales and marketing manager of Merging Technologies. "For that reason we've created an installation that demonstrates how these two trends can combine in a powerful, captivating way. We're delighted to partner with Genelec on this, their reputation speaks for itself, and I'd urge any integrator interested in the future of audio to visit our stand at ISE."
As part of the showcase, Merging Technologies will be demonstrating the new Ovation 6. This versatile solution brings the power of an integrated 3D rendering engine, for use with both replayed sounds and an almost limitless number of live inputs. This combination has made it famous and seen it used on some of the world's most important events. Backed by the networked audio interfaces, Horus and Hapi, and Pyramix 10, Merging Technologies will show why they are the "go to" supplier for venues, theatres, museums, live events and broadcast.
The 4420 is a model which brings the benefits of Genelec's DSP system to the company's 4000 Series of loudspeakers for fixed installations. Technology and software combine in the model to improve sonic performance, increase user benefits and improve the integration of the loudspeakers into their acoustic environment. The addition of AoIP capability further increases the application potential of the range.
