More than 14 new products will make their InfoComm debut, ranging from cinema sound and corporate AV to commercial installation and networked digital systems for theatrical production and themed spectaculars. In addition, Meyer Sound will extend the company's ongoing education programme offerings to InfoComm participants with on-booth presentations, as well as mixing workshops with Buford Jones, the FOH mixer and Meyer Sound touring liaison manager.
Highlights will include the D-Mitri digital audio platform, a next-generation system for integrated signal processing, networked multichannel distribution, multichannel recording and playback, and show control automation.
Also featured will be Cinema Experience, the high-power, low-distortion cinema sound with a smooth translation across sound design, dubbing, and exhibition. Cinema Experience includes the Acheron 80 and 100 screen channel loudspeakers, Acheron LF bass loudspeaker, HMS-10 cinema surround loudspeaker, and X-800C high-power cinema subwoofer, as well as a suite of integration tools for accurate acoustical prediction and system analysis and control.
Other products on display at InfoComm will include the 500-HP subwoofer, which features dimensions well suited to be rigged directly to the M'elodie line array loudspeakers in both flown and ground stacked configurations. Also shown will be a range of installation loudspeakers designed for flush mount ceiling and wall applications, including the Stella-4C and the Stella-8C installation loudspeakers, as well as the UPM-1P shown in a back can.
Meyer Sound staff will give hands-on demonstrations of the Galileo loudspeaker management system and the Matrix3 audio show control system.
