The live presentations will also offer a sneak peak of the linearity of the 1100-LFC low frequency control element, a new loudspeaker for low-end directional applications in large-scale tours and installations. The 1100-LFC will begin shipping in June 2012.
On the main show floor (booth C9717), the recently expanded range of low-voltage, self-powered solutions will be shown in the US for the first time, including three 48 V,DC-powered models: the UPJunior-XP VariO and UPM-1XP loudspeakers and the UMS-1XP subwoofer.
As one of the first AVnu Alliance Promoter Members, Meyer Sound will join other manufacturers in the alliance to show the importance of the AVB (Audio Video Bridging) networking standards. At the AVnu Alliance Pavilion (booth C11309), the Meyer Sound CAL column array loudspeaker will participate in the biggest AVB interoperability demonstration to date.
Other education opportunities at the show facilitated by Meyer Sound include Buford Jones's Live Mixing on 13 June and Mix it up - Live Audio Workshop on the same day. On 14 June 14, consultant Bill Schuermann, who has implemented numerous Meyer Sound systems including the recent Houston Ballet, will lead the discussion Low Voltage Audio Systems: Raising the Bar.
