USA - Midas and Klark Teknik have launched a raft of new products at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas.

The new products were unveiled at a press launch held yesterday, and comprised two additions to the PRO Series, the PRO3 and PRO9; the XL8i; a new range of Midas digital snakes and new digital audio format and sample rate converters from Klark Teknik.

The PRO9 tops the Midas PRO Series, providing an 88 channel input count and 35 buses, while the "cost-effective" Midas PRO3 will allow more touring riders and professional installations to take advantage of Midas' digital features.

The XL8i is a top-of-the-range addition Midas' digital audio line-up created with the install, theatre and house of worship market in mind.

All the new systems use exactly the same technology and components as the XL8 and PRO6.

Additionally, a full range of standalone Midas digital snake and audio distribution products, together with the Klark Teknik DN9650 and DN9652 new high channel count digital audio format and sample rate converters.

"This is the biggest multi-product launch ever for Midas and Klark Teknik," says managing director John Oakley. "More people than ever will be able to use our products, with new consoles offering on the one hand more power and on the other lower cost entry to Midas mixing. They will also discover the versatility of our audio networking systems and how easy they are to set up and use."
