Midas Consoles Holland is the brainchild of Axel Nagtegaal of Electric Audio. Electric Audio already distributed Klark Teknik in Holland, but Nagtegaal's vision was to develop a structure that would concentrate exclusively on Midas and Klark Teknik in order to maximise both brands in the Dutch market. "Midas Consoles Holland, although part of Electric Audio, operates entirely independently," explained Nagtegaal. "It has its own very distinct identity including its own dedicated logo, website and personnel, plus a fully stocked showroom and demo facility which we call the Midas Cave. MCH exists exclusively for the sales and support of Midas and Klark Teknik. Unlike most distribution set-ups where many brands from several manufacturers are represented, there is absolutely no affiliation with any other brand. It's almost as if you were buying direct from the factory. Indeed, our strategy is to deliver the same service and the same standards of customer care and support as you would expect direct from Midas and KT themselves."
"We also aim to add value in other ways," he continued. "For example, for customers who do not wish to purchase a console outright, we offer a variety of leasing options and finance packages. We have also developed what we call a 'Service Pack'. This is a bolt-on extra to the three-year warranty which, in the rare event of a problem, guarantees a replacement console of the same type or better within four hours of the original call. And we offer regular training sessions at our demo facility for both new and existing customers. To our knowledge, we are the only distributor in the world that offers this level of loyalty to both the brands we represent and our customers."
