Miles Donovan's role will be strictly an internal one
UK - In order to strengthen its support for the LCD and single chip DLP segment across the EMEA territories, Christie has created a new position at EMEA HQ in Wokingham, Berkshire, and enlisted Miles Donovan to fill it.

Previously working in the leisure and hospitality industry, Donovan's role will be strictly an internal one. "I will be making sure that our sales teams across EMEA have all the tools and support materials they need to exploit these important product sectors," he said.

"As the market continues to change and become more competitive, there is a growing requirement to ensure that all product and marketing needs are being fulfilled across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in order to bolster sales. Each territory will be treated independently."

Reporting to James Belso, Christie UK channel sales manager, Miles Donovan described his appointment as "an exciting challenge and an incredible opportunity to establish a new position in an exciting, fast paced industry".

Commenting on the new position, Dale Miller, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, stated, "Since Christie is recognised as a premium marquee with purpose-built systems for all Pro AV users, it might sometimes be overlooked that we have one of the broadest, highest performing and most price competitive ranges of LCD and single-chip DLP product portfolios available in the market today. All are offered with the same level of customer support and technical back-up as our flagship systems.

"This new role shows our continued investment and commitment in the support of this sector and its partner channel, distributors and resellers alike. There has been heavy investment in our demo facilities across EMEA and these facilities can be booked and used freely by all Christie Partners - from customer demo support, testing a potential AV solution to sales meetings and customer hospitality.

"In his new role Miles will be developing various programmes to help our channel utilise these facilities and Christie's considerable investment in trade show, event support and all aspects of marketing."
