The Music on the Hill festival – raising money for charity
UK - The picturesque town of Kings Hill, near West Malling in Kent was the venue for the Music on the Hill festival on the 19-21 July. The object of the festival was to raise funds for three popular children's charities- Teens Unite against cancer, Demelza children's hospice and the Children's Development Trust. A varied line-up included Jools Holland, McFly and Peter Andre.

Subfrantic were the production company for the event and they used 10 of MilTec's Batten2 LED battens for pixelmapping and visual effects. The battens were suspended vertically from the roof truss and staggered to give depth, filling the space above the performers with light and effects.

Steve Davies from Subfrantic commented, "We were very pleased with the MilTec battens, They added character to the stage and were very bright, with good visibility even during the daylight hours."
