The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona
Spain - The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the largest trade exhibition in the world for the mobile phone industry. Manufacturers and service providers spend huge sums on their stands to present the best possible image to the attendees, so they must be immaculately presented with the lighting perfectly integrated into the design.

Two of the largest stands incorporated a total of 130 of MilTec's highly successful Batten2 LED battens. MRL Productions of Clacton supplied lighting, truss and rigging for the Qualcomm Inc. stand via design and build specialists The 3D Factory. Push Hires Ltd. from Eastbourne supplied 2LK Design Company for the Intel/Airwatch stand with the battens, moving heads and conventional lighting as well as sound equipment and hundreds of meters of truss (c/w chain hoists). Push also used the Miltec 360WZ moving head LED zoom wash for the conference set.

Craig Wiggins, MD of MRL Productions commented, "I bought the Batten2 because the light output is very high but the batten is very compact and keenly priced. The colours are nicely saturated, not washed out."

Steve Hubbard, general manager for Push Hires added, "We purchased the Miltec battens because they fit back to back inside a 300mm truss section. They have already been out on another two jobs and are now on their way to Hannover for 5 weeks lighting banners on another 80m long stand."
