For improved diffusion, the pipe moulding features a second 'outer' layer which acts as an additional filter. The result is optimum diffusion with maximum light transmission for vibrant colour washes along all surfaces of the diffuser. The LED Pipe comes in two lengths - 1300mm to fit a 5-way batten and 250mm to fit individual DB4 units, but can also be cut into custom lengths to fit individual RGB cells or other batten configurations. Both pipe options have been designed with overhang each end of the DB4 unit/s to enable the fixtures to butt up to each other seamlessly when configured in a line.
Also from A.C. Lighting, the range of four high-efficiency lens film beam kits allows the lighting designer to get more flexibility out of the Color Block by providing a wide choice of beam angles. The 0.015" Polycarbonate holographic film is a non-wavelength dependent, fully randomised surface structure that eliminates Moire and colour diffraction. The film is available in a choice of 20°, 30°, 60° x 10° and 30° x 5° beam angles, and slides easily into the front accessory slot of a DB4. Further beam angles will be added to the range in future, say A.C.
A.c. will also be showing the latest additions to the Jands Vista family. The Vista S3 console is a compact, self-contained work surface which provides the full functionality of a Vista console when used in conjunction with a PC or Mac laptop or desktop computer. With its modular design, the S3 provides an attractive alternative to the full size T4 and T2 Vista consoles.
Also new, the Vista E2 wing is a chassis designed to house two Vista playback (or programming) modules. The wing is designed to sit alongside a T2 or T4 console and provides users, who prefer more hands-on control during shows, with up to 40 additional playbacks.
