Close to White Light's base in Wimbledon, south-west London, the company supplied new internally wired lighting bars and a new LSC EKO twelve-way dimmer system for the Drama Room at Merton's Rutlish School; White Light have also carried out PAT testing on the equipment in the school's main hall.
Elsewhere in London, White Light undertook projects for St Andrews Primary School in Enfield (supplying a mixing desk and radio microphones for the school hall), Roe Green Junior School in Harrow (supplying gobo projection for the school's new Eco Building), Langley Park School for Girls in Beckenham (load testing and rigging remedial work), and Esher High School in Esher (supplying a new Zero88 Chilli 1210i dimmer rack and carried out PAT testing).
Further afield, White Light installed new internally wired lighting bars and an LSC EKO 12-way dimmer rack for the new main hall at Rickley Park School in Milton Keynes, and a new grid complete with Zero88 Chilli 2410i dimmer rack for the Drama Room, new drapes and rigging for the main hall at the Cheadle Hulme School near Stockport.
"We're always delighted when we can help schools improve their lighting facilities," comments White Light's project manager Matt Stridgen. "School is where most of us got started in lighting, and it's great to be able to bring the experience we've gained since, back to help the current generations of students, whether it's supplying them with the latest lighting gear, training pupils or teachers on the use of equipment or lighting design, or just making sure the equipment they have is safe to use. However we can help, we aim to do so efficiently, reliably and at the best possible price."
