The Cube at Queensland University of Technology,
Australia - MultiTouch, manufacturer of the 48x MultiTaction displays forming part of The Cube at Queensland University of Technology, has announced its attendance at this year's Integrate Expo (26-28 August) on stand E40 at the Dome in Sydney's Olympic Park.

Featuring on MultiTouch's stand will be an interactive wall comprising 8x 55" Ultra Thin Bezel MultiTaction displays showing MultiTouch's MultiTaction Experience app. MultiTaction 55" tables will also be on display, demonstrating a range of applications including a bespoke Glenfiddich whisky application.

"We're delighted to be involved in this prestigious event," says Hannu Anttila, vice president of business development at MultiTouch. "It's a privilege to be able to demonstrate to attendees at Integrate Expo the technology behind the unique QUT Cube, albeit on a smaller scale, along with our most recent innovations and case studies."

Running a custom-made MultiTaction Experience application, the eight-display wall demonstration will highlight the unique features of MultiTaction technology, including simultaneous touch, IR pen and object recognition, 200+fps tracking and Enriched Reality 2D markers.

Users of MultiTaction displays can personalise the user experience by utilising MultiTaction Codice, which creates a truly bi-directional communications channel between the user and MultiTaction display content. For example, Codice IDs can be printed on visitor badges or ID cards, allowing for enhanced, fast interaction with MultiTaction displays for personalised content and transactions. At the same time, MultiTaction display owners can gain valuable analytics on user behaviour.

The Cube is the world's biggest interactive multitouch installation and the largest continuous array of unlimited touch displays. Situated within Queensland University of Technology's (QUT) innovative digital interactive learning exhibition space, it's the heart of QUT's new A$230m Science and Engineering Centre.

MultiTouch is also set to feature at this year's G20 at the Cube Globe, which will utilise the existing Cube to deliver immense capability for visitors to realise their place in the world and reach understandings of the challenges and opportunities the world faces now and into the future.

Integrate Expo 2014 is the largest AV and systems integration industry event in Australia. Over three days the exhibition showcases the latest products innovations from leading local and international brands. Integrate is presented in association with InfoComm International and CEDIA.
