The company's internal reorganization last year prompted a review of distributed brands to ensure consistent focus and a cohesive product offering. Both SDUK and myMix recognised that the niche myMix product portfolio, which is a near complete solution to many audio applications, was now a difficult fit and would be better served by a new distributor. Effective 1 May, SDUK will be passing all responsibility for myMix sales and support to UK-based distributors Synthax Audio UK.
"As we moved to a selective distribution strategy and restructured our organisation to support specific channels it became increasingly apparent that some products within our portfolio fell outside of our core strategy. myMix is an innovative product that we are proud to have been associated with and we wish Movek all the best with their new distribution partnership," commented Peter James, managing director, Shure Distribution UK.
