This service is designed to give manufacturers, rental companies, integrators and end users the chance to access used AV equipment at much reduced prices than compared to brand new stock, as well as also offering a vehicle for them to sell off underutilised and older products also.
Nearly New AV's business manager Stuart Johnson explained, "This initiative has been designed with the aim of supplying a growing market for high quality used AV equipment; helping rental companies supplement their fleets and save money by investing in those products that they use the most.
"Installation companies will now have top of the range used equipment readily available but at a significantly reduced cost, and with our buy back screen will also have the opportunity to upgrade older installations when new models become available. This combined will assist them in accessing market verticals that have been previously out of reach whilst also helping them to generate further business with already established customers."
Products available include Panasonic's large format display range from the flagship 152" plasma through to the smaller 32" sized LCD and plasma screens. The portfolio also spans a varied array of videowalls, consisting of Sharp's 60" LCD with LED backlight, Orion's Infinite Plasma, NEC's 46" LCD and Christie MicroTiles, as well as new technologies such as NanoFlex; the world's first flexible LED screen from NanoLumens.
