The Nemesis range of show control hardware was created to address a specific gap in the market
UK - Orbital Sound is unveiling its new distribution line of Nemesis audio playback and control solutions on Stand No: 74 at the ABTT Theatre Show 2014.

Designed to address the challenging requirements of the theatre and live entertainment environments, the Nemesis hardware range comprises the core components required to achieve seamlessly integrated performances with the ultimate degree of control.

At the heart of the Nemesis line-up is the highly flexible CCS-2 Computer Control Switch, designed to allow two computer systems to share a keyboard, mouse, monitor, distribution of GPI data and MIDI messages - providing an essential degree of system resilience and invisible audio transition, should a problem arise with the Mac or PC-based sound playback system, typically running QLab, CSC or similar playback software.

In addition to the CCS-2, the current Nemesis line-up includes: the Nemesis AD16-SW 16-channel ADAT switch, allowing seamless switching between two ADAT compliant devices - most commonly Main and Backup sound cards of a theatre playback system consisting of two separate computers.

The Nemesis range of show control hardware was created to address a specific gap in the market for powerful, reliable and flexible show control and audio playback solutions. Designed specifically for the challenging theatre and live entertainment environments, and manufactured to the highest British engineering standards, the Nemesis design objective is to provide a fully specified and highly resilient set of audio control hardware, enabling engineers to achieve seamlessly integrated performances. With Nemesis behind the scenes, the objective is to ensure that the show will go on - without unwanted interruptions and with the ultimate degree of control.

In addition to unveiling the Nemesis range at ABTT, Orbital Sound is also showcasing its high profile range of innovative brands, including Flare Audio, d&b audiotechnik, HME, Clear-Com, CSC, and TheatrePro. Orbital is also presenting a special version of its acclaimed Mixing Musicals training course as part of ABTT's seminar series, focusing on the practical skills and theory behind best-practice FOH mixing for modern musicals.

In addition to its sales activities, members of the Orbital team are on hand during the show to discuss theatre sound training, as well as its range of theatre sound hire and consultancy.
